What I collect

When you request a date, I collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and the details of your event. When you use an event page, I keep the songs, names and votes you add to that event's playlist, and a small cookie so the page remembers your votes.

How I use it

I use your information only to answer your request, plan and perform at your event, and run your event page. I use your phone number only to call you about your event. I do not send text messages and I do not send marketing emails.

No tracking or ads

This site does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking tools of its own, and I do not sell or rent your information to anyone. One exception: if you tap play on a song that comes from YouTube, the video player is loaded from YouTube (Google). YouTube may then receive your IP address and set cookies under the Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab). Nothing from YouTube loads unless you tap play on a YouTube song.

Who helps run the site

The site runs on a web hosting provider and stores form entries and playlists in a database on that hosting. Booking notifications are sent through an email provider. These providers handle your information only to run the site for me.

Payments toward an event balance are made through a Square payment link. When you pay, you leave this site and Square handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. I never see or store your card number.

Event pages can play short song previews from a music catalog service. Your browser loads those previews directly from that service.

How long I keep it

I keep booking requests and event pages for as long as I need them for your event and my business records, then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask me to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you. Send your request through the booking form and say what you need.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, I will update it on this page and change the date above.
